Special Notice Regarding Advertisement:
In compliance with the order issued by the Honorable Supreme Court on 2079.10.24, regarding writ petition no. 078-WO-0660 and related petitions, positions will be filled following the necessary legal arrangements as per the directives.
For any other institutions, including national and international non-governmental organizations, except for those mentioned in section (a), the work experience will be recognized only if the appointment letter, contract agreement, and the service certificate from the relevant institution are submitted, along with the rules or regulations proving that the official level recruitment process, qualifications, organizational structure, and terms of service are consistent. Experience will only be recognized if it is confirmed that recruitment at the official level was done in accordance with such regulations or procedures.
Experience of Government Employees in Other Bodies or Organized Institutions:
If government employees present experience in other bodies or organized institutions, such experience will only be recognized if they provide the letter of prior approval from the Government of Nepal and a leave approval letter for the period of service.
Conditions for Recognizing Work Experience:
If work has been done in two or more institutions during the same period, only the experience from one full-time job will be counted.
Work experience for less than 40 hours per week (part-time) will not be recognized.
If the appointment letter or contract specifically mentions part-time work, such experience will not be recognized.
Experience at the official level prior to achieving the minimum required educational qualifications will not be recognized.
Temporary or contract service experience for less than one year will not be counted.
Experience gained while holding a subordinate position (assistant level) and acting or being interim at the official level will not be recognized.
For individuals holding a Ph.D., the required experience period will be reduced by two years.
Important Notice:
Examination Centers:
The examination centers for all the positions mentioned above will be in Kathmandu. The written exams for all positions will be conducted by the Public Service Commission. The written exam schedule will be published once received from the Public Service Commission.
Age Limit:
As of the last date of application submission:
For non-level, level 4, and level 5 positions: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 35 years of age.
For level 6 and level 7 positions: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not exceed 35 years of age.
For level 8 positions: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not exceed 45 years of age.
The upper age limit is extended to 40 years for candidates belonging to the Dalit and disabled categories.
Permanent employees of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) are exempt from age restrictions.

For level 8, 7, and 6 positions: NPR 1,000
For level 5 positions: NPR 400
For level 4 positions: NPR 300
For non-level positions: NPR 200
If applying for more than one inclusive category for the same position:
Level 6: NPR 400 per additional category
Level 5: NPR 200 per additional category
Level 4: NPR 150 per additional category
Non-level: NPR 100 per additional category
Double Fee Period: The double fee submission period will not be counted for calculating age, educational qualifications, work experience, or other eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed the required educational qualifications by the last date of application submission. They must have obtained the certificate, transcript, and academic records from the respective institutions or universities. Candidates with foreign degrees must submit equivalent certification from the relevant authorities in Nepal.

Document Submission: Candidates must submit certified copies of their educational qualifications along with the application. For inclusive group applicants, certified documents from the respective authorities must be provided.
Engineering and Chartered Accountant Positions: For level 6 and higher positions in the engineering group, candidates must submit proof of registration with the Engineering Council. For Chartered Accountant positions, candidates must submit a membership certificate from the Nepal Chartered Accountants Institute.
Reservation for NOC Employees: According to regulation 4.2 (10) of the Nepal Oil Corporation’s Employee Administration Regulations, 2063 (with amendments), employees who have already used the reservation facility in the NOC once will not be eligible for any reservation facility again. Additionally, employees must self-declare whether they have availed of any reservation benefits.
